Let Our Magic Work For You

Zoning can make your home a more comfortable place to live. Imagine never thinking about the temperature around you because you're always perfectly comfortable. Zoning gives you the control you need to enjoy perfect comfort, no matter where you choose to be inside your home. With zoning, conditioned air is delivered exactly when and where it's needed.

Most people zone for the comfort benefits. And it's true that typically, zoned systems cost more to install than a non-zoned, conventional heating and cooling system. But the long-range value of a zoned system outweighs the initial investment.

Zoning allows you to heat or cool only the zones that need it, not the whole house. Without zoning, when the thermostat is adjusted to make one part of the house more comfortable, the whole house is heated or cooled. That wastes electricity and may cause the system to overheat or overcool the rest of the house. Zoning is simply a way of dividing your home into areas that have common heating and cooling requirements. Each area is controlled separately with its own thermostat or sensor. That way, it can be heated or cooled independently of the other areas to maximize your comfort and energy savings.

Zoning lets you reduce equipment size or even eliminate a second or third system in some homes.
Zoning increases your comfort and adds to the long-term resale value of your home.
Energy saving from setback thermostats can quickly pay for the additional costs of zoning.

With zoning, energy savings of 10%, 20%,and even 30% are possible. These savings easily add up to hundreds of dollars per year.

Your water and lights are zoned...why not your comfort?

You already enjoy two other "zoned" essentials in your home: your water and lights. How many of us would want to turn on one switch to light the whole house when all we want is to light the kitchen? The same goes for the water flow in our homes. Imagine having to turn on the water main to your home - and knowing water was gushing from every faucet - simply to brush your teeth. These examples of zoning aren't luxuries - they're common sense and an intelligent use of resources. Zoning a home for cooling and heating makes just as much sense.

Zoning is key to comfort if your home has any of the following design features:

Multiple levels
High ceilings
Rooms with unusually large glass areas
Large open areas such as a solarium, porch or atrium
Wings or a sprawling design
Rooms with a concrete slab floor or exposed floor
An indoor swimming pool or hot tub
